REYNAERS ALUMINIUM POLYCLOSE 2012 INVITATION | 26.11.2011

Reynaers Aluminium contacted Eyce regarding an illustration for their invitation to Polyclose 2012. Being the third time, i thought the time was there for something more special. So, i contacted former classmate Sebastiaan Van Doninck, a fresh, very experienced & celebrated illustrator. Sebastiaan created a great little artwork within the ecological theme of Polyclose 2012. Complete in his very own style he also created some subtle links to Reynaers products, realizations & a rework of the earlier created Reynaers figure.

Everything was wrapped within two days, inclusive 4 design versions ( Partner, Installer both in dutch & french ). Two days after that we delivered the finished product in print at a happy customer thanks to the Eyce print office n°1.

Team:
Illustration: Sebastiaan Van Doninck

EYCE SCRAPS : FINAL PHOTO PRODUCTION | 07.11.2011

For this update of the gallery on the Eyce website welcome page i chose not to work with free own work from an external photographer. To show you more from where Eyce originates i created a project on canvas, with the intend to have a black & white photo production as a final product. Having the perfect industrial location within the Eyce office perimeter sure was handy. Photographer Jessica Boutsen wrapped it in with some funky posing.

This project is still in development when ever i find a bit of spare time for this free work.

EYCE SCRAPS : RAW ILLUSTRATIONS | 07.11.2011

To show you more from where Eyce originates i created a project on canvas, with the intend to have a black & white photo production as a final product. A lot of concepts & ideas passed until one evening i found some old pre eyce-age skechbooks. Then i realized i should do what i've always found most fun to do, scrapping, taping, sampling, painting... So i started to create this mixed media works. I left some of the original sketches on, most of them disappeared through time & process. In the end i ended up with five works about things i used to love as a kid, places i used to work as a freelancer, things that inspired my through art school, inspiring magazines etc... Well you find out about this sweet nostalgia scraps!

This project is still in development when ever i find a bit of spare time.
